{"id":27214,"date":"2026-02-12T14:30:06","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T20:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/lakeviewk-8\/blog\/news\/lakeview-k-8-drone-club-shines-at-carthage\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T14:30:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T20:30:06","slug":"lakeview-k-8-drone-club-shines-at-carthage","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/lakeviewk-8\/news\/lakeview-k-8-drone-club-shines-at-carthage\/","title":{"rendered":"LakeView K-8 Drone Club Shines at Carthage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LakeView K-8 Academy\u2019s Drone Club recently competed at the Wisconsin Aerial Drone Competition held at Carthage College \u2014 and they delivered an outstanding performance!<\/p>\n<p>Three LakeView teams competed in the teamwork, skills, autonomous and communication missions, showcasing impressive preparation, collaboration and technical expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Their hard work paid off in a big way:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highest teamwork single match score of the entire competition<\/li>\n<li>Team 53143C advanced to the semifinals in the Teamwork Mission and finished 5th overall<\/li>\n<li>Team 53143A earned 4th-place in the Skills Mission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These achievements reflect our students\u2019 dedication, problem-solving skills, and commitment to mastering drone piloting and programming.
